January 6th Coup Attempt

Capitalism and racism are inextricably linked.  The movement that attempted to subvert democracy on January 6th is based on 400 years of dividing and exploiting workers by race and class.  The electoral college itself was designed to disenfranchise voters and tilt power toward the slave-holding south.  While leaders can be impeached and censored, the movement will remain because the system that supports it will remain.  The Democratic party is helpless to stop this movement because they are invested in, and enabled by, the current system that continues to enrich the wealthy at the expense of the working class.  To stop the white nationalist movement, an agenda that empowers and unites workers must be advanced.

Join us as we promote a agenda that includes:  Shifting resources from the prison industrial complex, establishing health care for all, abolishing ICE and freeing detained immigrants, passing the Green New Deal and halting environmental racism, and expanding and protecting the worker’s rights to organize in the workplace.  A united movement, run democratically by the working class, that places human need ahead of exploitation, is what we seek to achieve.
